Choosing the right venue for your big day can often be one of the more stressful choices that come with planning a wedding. We’re spoiled for choice with so many beautiful venues across Australia that it’s so hard to choose just one.

And if we narrow things down to a single location, take the Hunter Valley, one of “Australia’s wedding venue capitals”, for example, the choices are almost endless.

The Hunter Valley is known for its beautiful scenery, an abundance of wineries, good food, and the quiet that comes with being a few hours away from Sydney.

I’ve handpicked some of the best wedding venues in the Hunter Valley to help you find the perfect one for your big day.

1. Peterson House

Often viewed as one of the best venues in the Hunter, Peterson House is home to an elegant vineyard marquee, sandstone chapel, stunning cottage gardens, and the award-winning restaurant, Cuvée.

Panoramic views of the beautiful vineyards, distant rolling hills, and their cute pond and jetty are amongst some of the most picturesque views of any wedding venue across the country.
